Care & Maintenance
- Unplug after each use and let the appliance cool.
- Wash containers, lids and accessories with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or steel wool.
- Do not immerse the base in water or allow liquid to enter; wipe the heating plate gently and descale if mineral build‑up occurs.
- Store in a clean, dry place when not in use.
- If the power indicator doesn’t light or rice is over/undercooked, check the power plug, switch and water levels; do not disassemble the appliance yourself.
Safety Precautions
- Ensure the voltage matches your supply and use a grounded outlet.
- Place the cooker on a stable, heat‑resistant surface away from carpets or flammable materials and out of children’s reach.
- Avoid pressing the power button excessively hard; do not operate on heat‑sensitive plastic benches.
- Never add water beyond the MAX line; water may spill during operation.
- Do not open the lid immediately after cooking. Steam may cause burns—wait a few minutes before opening.
- Do not immerse the body in water; avoid letting liquid flow into the appliance.
- If the device malfunctions, contact a professional technician. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself.
- Before first use, wash the stainless‑steel container thoroughly with detergent and sterilise it by boiling water for at least one minute.
